Neil
McQueen, founder of the firm.

|
Our
Firm was founded by Arthur Neil McQueen in 1946, on his discharge
from the Army after the 2nd World War. His experience on the right
side of court marshals may have been invaluable.
He
set up practice in Post Office Chambers (a stone's throw away from
our present location), from which the firm moved to Emerson Chambers,
opposite Grey's Monument in Newcastle. Old clients will never forget
the lift to the 5th Floor!
At
about the time the Law Courts moved to the Quayside in 1990, we
re-located to our present premises, not only in the legal epicentre,
but also in an area offering an ample choice of restaurants and
bars in which clients may need to take refuge to mull over our advice.
